Tiger Woods Joins Twitter Amidst Bad PR News

Critics can't just have enough of this guy, as they continue to harp that its all the same with Tiger Woods, trying to appear sincere when he really is not. Some are even going as far as to call Tiger a "fraud," and waiting for the next "cutesy" Nike ad to "enlighten us even further." (sarcasm is indeed prevalent in that last statement)

The downfall in Tiger Woods image has been further complicated by the downfall in his game this season, and it's been a drastic one for an athlete many compared as the Michael Jordan of golf. He didn't win all year for the first time ever.

This quote could be the most telling of them all:

"The single worst thing that ever could happen to Tiger Woods may be happening," said Michael Kempner, President of MWW Group public relations in East Rutherford, N.J. "He has gone from being immortal to being extraordinarily mortal."

Famous (or in-famous) golfer has been bitten by the tweeting bird and has officially joined Twitter today. The account @TigerWoods is verified and is gaining bucket loads of followers by the hour.

CALABAR CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL 2009

The 2009 edition of the Carnival Calabar held on December 27 deviated from the norm. Unlike the four previous editions which started in the morning and ended in the night, the event not only held on a Sunday (the first time it would hold on the day), it also started around 3pm and ran to around 5am of the following day. Though some people felt the carnival could have been shifted to the next day if the organisers really wanted people to enjoy their church service, Carnival 2009 was not devoid of its characteristic pomp and ceremony. Despite the five competing bands - Freedom Band, Masta Blasta Band, Bayside Band, Seag ull Band and Passion Four - and the non-competing b ands taking off at Millennium Park after the scheduled 2pm, people; old, young and children, lined the streets well into the night along the 12-kilometre procession route. Word for Today: Don't feel bad or dampened. Neither should you seek to respond to enmity. Lest you didn't know or may have forgotten; Enmity was what promoted Joseph. Enmity promoted Daniel. Enmity has been the propeller to sucess of many than love from friends. Why is this so? Remember, GOD is the judge of the whole universe. He sees it all. Thus, most often than not, you are promoted not for what you did, but rather, you are promoted because of what was done to you. When the enemy executes evil plans against you, our GOD, the judge of the whole universe, looks upon your case and executes judgement on your behalf.
