<div style="text-align: justify;">
Not everyone starts off easy. Not everyone has it all laid out for them. However, that you did not or do not have it all laid out for you, does not mean you have to achieve less or remain incapacitated.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Truth is, soaring in life is often times akin to riding a bicycle. For those of us who are familiar with bicycles, we know that to really get going, you have to gather momentum. Same applies to life. Even water understands that to really get going, all it needs is perseverance till it breaks through the rock, and after that, it flows so freely and beautifully and is simply unstoppable.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What do you desire today?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Perseverance is a trait of champions!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Atimes in life, you have to go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am sure you must have come across or heard this popular maxim which says "life begins at the end of your comfort zone." More often than not, to achieve what no one else has achieved, you have to travel paths no one else has traveled or simply settle for the status quo. This reminds me of the courageous words of a friend - Clara Okpara... "Eta, I do not want to live an ordinary life".</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today, are you going to take that bold step towards achieving your dream(s)? Or are you going to keep delaying that courageous act and end up doing so for the rest of your life.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I call on you today. Are you a child of GOD? If yes, what are you waiting for? Today, step forward to your lion. Be courageous. Courage is proof of Faith. Victory surely awaits you on the other side.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>by Eta Uso, Jr.</i><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I grew up in the oil rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria. Though privileged, my growing up years had very little travel experiences. My life basically revolved around the states of Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Rivers State. Even till this day, I think I have travelled more times abroad in the past five years than I have travelled within my own country (Nigeria) in the over twenty years of my life. Not sure if this makes me sound less patriotic or preferably, more like a Global Citizen.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Growing up, I was privy to tales about the city of Abuja from friends, cousins and yes, the print media. Tales of Abuja being the city of fantastic mansions, luxurious cars, fast money and furthermore, a city with the finest private parties with accompanying financial recklessness being often exhibited by the stupendously rich. Abuja was in simple terms described and projected as Nigeria's El Dorado and the repercussion was instant (citizens trooped in from different states within the country). I was often privy to tales of girls who went to Abuja one-day and owned Range Rovers the next day. And common tales of guys who often drove around with millions of Naira in the trunk of their cars and with an ease as that of a wink, will shut down (exclusively reserve) two to three night clubs in one night to celebrate their birthdays and will do it all over again the next day in celebration of a friend. I heard stories of females who would gather funds to hire a single cab to the now Transcorp Hilton and arriving with barely an assurance of cash on them to find their way home. These girls were often reported as leaving the Hilton overnight millionaires. Wow! The city of overnight millionaires I thought. Well, even with all the tales, I never for once nurtured the zeal to see Abuja for myself. Anyway, unknown to me, necessity will some day take me to Abuja.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the month of September 2012, few weeks to the start of my post-graduate degree in the United Kingdom, I had the opportunity of visiting Abuja to secure my student visa. On arrival, I was hosted by a good friend and mentor at his residence in Frederick Chiluba Close, Off Jose Marti, Asokoro. Yes Asokoro! One of the most mentioned locations of luxury that always crept up in the tales of Abuja. To put it modestly, I was not impressed with Asokoro. I think the tales had so exaggerated Abuja and as a result did more damage, as I seemed to have expected so much more. And no, Asokoro in my opinion was not so much more. I spent just four days in Abuja. Though I was supposedly in the 'privileged' neighbourhood of Nigeria's El Dorado, this neighbourhood will in contrast be equivalent to the low-income neighbourhoods of downtown Miami. Anyway, this is not where the story starts.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fourteen months away in the United Kingdom for studies (finished in twelve) and then I returned to Nigeria in the month of December 2013. I spent the Christmas and the New Year with family in the oil rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria and then mid January 2014, I moved to Abuja. Yes, I moved base to Nigeria's El Dorado. I was expectant but not the kind as contained in the tales. I had established ties within the seat of power in Abuja whilst abroad, so moving base to Abuja on my return was more of strategic, than on the randomness of running into wandering gold in Nigeria's El Dorado.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
No doubt, on moving base and having more time to explore the city than I did over two years ago when I spent only four days, I could now agree substantially that Abuja indeed embodied a good degree of the fast life, fast cars and financial recklessness (though not the kind the tales talked about). Now this takes me to the actual Abuja I discovered.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The actual Abuja I discovered is a city more developed than the region that actually finances its lavish lifestyle. At the same time, I also discovered in Abuja, a city with the most number of poor people than in most states of the Federation. I discovered in Abuja, a city of uneven wealth. A city made up of areas as Wuse2, Jabi, Maitama, Apo, Asokoro and 'others'. The 'others' represents the largely less privileged section of Nigeria's acclaimed El Dorado that all my storytellers failed to mention. I discovered in Abuja, a city with almost the largest unemployment rate in the country, but yet its inhabitants still survive (on deals, contracts and real estate - the most dominated sector of the unemployed in Nigeria's El Dorado). I discovered in Abuja, a city of drugs and prostitution. I discovered in Abuja that no, you do not walk into the Hilton broke and walk out a millionaire. No! This particular tale, sorry I mean myth, was completely false. I discovered in Abuja that no, boys do not drive around with millions in their trunk (only a handful do and not common). This myth again was proven false. I discovered in Abuja, a city where the male folk would take advantage of the opposite sex where possible and no, submission to this never earned anyone a Range Rover overnight. In fact, I discovered no actual El Dorado. It was nothing but sweet tales after-all.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Abuja is no doubt a rich city with suffocating wealth but then, only a handful fall in this category. The rest are average people living average lives and 'packaging' the other parts. And this is my conclusion; Abuja needs help, so does Nigeria as a whole. Abuja is no El Dorado, neither is any region of Nigeria. And yes, Abuja needs a real economy, not the sleep, wake and hammer (make awoof money) kind - though only often experienced by a handful.<br />

Word for Today:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Don't feel bad or dampened. Neither should you seek to respond to enmity.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lest you didn't know or may have forgotten; Enmity was what promoted Joseph. Enmity promoted Daniel. Enmity has been the propeller to sucess of many than love from friends.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Why is this so? Remember, GOD is the judge of the whole universe. He sees it all. Thus, most often than not, you are promoted not for what you did, but rather, you are promoted because of what was done to you.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When the enemy executes evil plans against you, our GOD, the judge of the whole universe, looks upon your case and executes judgement on your behalf. And for every judgement, there is a punishment and a compensation.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Those who leave vengeance to the Lord will always be compensated. If our earthly judges can grant tasty compensations on earthly cases, how much more the Judge of the whole universe!!!</div>

<i><b>by Eta Uso, Jr.</b></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Is it not sweet yet sour that once upon a time a few people clamoured that we stick to a system of rotational Presidency by virtue of zoning. Yet today, these same few people, believe that it is either out or war if a certain section insists on completing their own circle.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While the above may be sweet and sour, this section is out-rightly sour. In that, our Nigeria of which we have today and are seemingly seeking to actively destroy on the altar of self interest and lust for power, a very large chunk of us did not toil for it. Rather, the spirit of Nigeria today in which we seek to destroy is a legacy bequeathed us by brave and patriotic men of honour, very Nigerians as us, now departed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We never toiled for her (Nigeria), our sweats neither blood never went down in exchange for the soul of she (Nigeria) that she might live. We gave nothing for her progress, so what's there to loose? We might as well just destroy her. Yet, though we seek to destroy her because we cannot have her for ourselves as our greed permits, if we so proceed and we finally bring her (Nigeria) to her knees, where do we get another? The truth we have refused to embrace is that there is no another. And even if we could give birth to another like her, I doubt the living souls in this generation embody enough honour to lay down sweat and blood for a new birth.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I will stop here and hope we all ask ourselves this question. Why destroy what we cannot rebuild?</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><b>by Eta Uso Jr</b></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I feel it necessary to bring forward that the Digital Age seems to have done a little more harm than good. Well, at least more harm than good to the lazy mindsets of this generation. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
How? It is simple. The wealth of information our generation gets exposed to in real-time is so alarming that it has resulted in poverty of attention.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Politically however, this poverty of attention has resulted in a chunk of the Nigerian masses not being able to determine or pinpoint what really matters most. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Nonetheless, irrespective of the poverty of attention ravaging our youths of today, one certain trait that seems to have remained constant is the desire to be popular on social media, or at most, follow what's seemingly popular. This can be buttressed with the splurge of politically correct statements that seem to be everywhere these days, thus consuming the 'lazy minds' of this digital generation into thinking that what is 'politically correct' is actually Correct.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Digressing a little, one should not forget the impressive display of 'good spirit' by The Nation Newspaper under the authority of APC Chieftain, Bola Tinubu. The Nation Newspapers under 'good guidance' found it ethical to cut off the picture of a serving Minister in its print publication simply because the Minister in question appears not to be in good terms with the man who dictates the tune based on his privileged position as owner of the media outfit (The Nation Newspapers).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Pondering here is that, many 'Nigerians' (the kinds defined in the previous paragraphs) say they do not want the PDP anymore. All good. Taking them to task, when asked their preferred alternative, their chorused responses are often 'APC'. Pushing further, when they are asked; why APC? They respond, they want Change and anything but PDP is 'Change'.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
From the immediate paragraph above, doesn't this reveal clearly that these set of Nigerians truly do not know what they want? Such that they will settle for another party spelt as 'APC', simply because it is not spelt with these words 'PDP'.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One wonders if these 'Nigerians' have pondered about how a man without power, yet could as much as cut off the picture of his perceived enemy against all media ethics in a Newspaper he controls. One should imagine or at least ponder what such a man and the party he controls will do to their perceived enemies, should they hold the power at the centre of Governance.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So help us GOD.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>By Eta Uso [Jr]</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever." - 2 Corinthians 4:17</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This above scripture reminds me of a Church service I attended some years ago. During that service, the Pastor while preaching, made a statement that has remained with me till date. He said; "those who do not understand your Story, will not understand your Glory". </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The above statement is true. Many see you today, wealthy, happy and in good health. Most of the time, you may even be ascribed to as being lavish or extravagant in your way of living. Many will criticise you for this, many will hate you even before they have the opportunity of meeting you. I tell you, do not blame them. They do not know your story. If only they knew what you endured. For example; they may never know that the man who got his first contract and chose to buy a brand new Toyota Prado SUV was actually wheeled to school in a wheelbarrow and such individual may have promised himself that his children will never have to go through same. Thus, at his first touch of money, he chose to take on a 'lavish' acquisition of a state of the act SUV. </div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is bad to judge how another man lives out his success. Same as it is bad to want to be in another man's shoes no matter how good it may seem, as in both situations, you can never really tell what occurred/occurs on the inside, thus covet not another man's life. Everyone of us has success within us. It is our place to work on ourselves to stir it up and cause it to shine out. This we can achieve using the infallible principles of the Holy Bible. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have come to minister and assure you this morning that your troubles are temporary. The word of GOD has assured you that whatever troubles you are facing is/are not to kill you but rather to produce for you a Glory that not just outweighs but in essence, greatly outweighs your present troubles and thus will set you high on a height of Glory that will last forever. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If only you believe, you will be amongst the millions of people who will give that testimony that people will find it hard to believe. For those who will not believe your testimony, at least them believe your new state of Glory. For those who still would not believe, just leave them with these two words; Grace Happened. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<blockquote>
“As long as you are proud you cannot know GOD. A proud man is always
looking down on things and people: and, of course, as long as you are
looking down you cannot see something that is above you.” ― C.S. Lewis.
<br />
</blockquote>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Remembering always, how you walked in through that door, would ignite a
sense of check and balance against giving room for pride to grow in
you. No doubt, some of us where born into unequivocal affluence, while
some of us were born into middle class or out-rightly poor families.
However, the material state in which we were born into, does not change
the fact that we all individually walked into this world with no
material gifts. Thus, just as we had no power to choose which families
we were born into, neither do we have the power even this day to assume
the role of gods over the future.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Pondering on the above, it is only honourable that in whatever high
state we find ourselves today, one should never keep walking like there
is no ground below nor have any such notion that our achievements
were/are by our sole-abilities. Thus, when we bend to look towards the
ground, we shouldn't look to the ground to further 'oppress' but rather,
we should always look to the ground to offer 'upliftment', that those
who having being uplifted, may be able to offer upliftment to others as
well.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We all need this consciousness.

Taste it! - by Eta Uso (Jr) <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Could it be out of laziness? Or simply out of the refusal to engage our
minds even while at rest, that causes us to take in everything of what
we are shown, rather than what it actually is.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
How many of you truly analyze the words or actions of your mentor(s)?
How many of you task yourselves to check that though you see red, it
could actually be green? How many of you are even conscious that you
embody a mind of your own? To this last question, the problem is simple,
you can never be conscious that you possess a mind of your own, when
you are not even conscious of the fact that you are unique.

<div style="text-align: justify;">
What is fear? Am sure many people would find it difficult at instantly defining the meaning of fear. Most people would define fear by reusing the word 'fear' in their definition. Some other people would define 'fear' by the utilizing the word 'scared'.<br /><br />Am sure almost no one, if any at all, would be able to give a proper definition of 'fear' within the first 5 - 10 seconds of being asked. What does this then tell us? Simply shows that 'fear' is not something we can physically hold onto. This further tells us that our ability to embrace what we cannot define is simply out of our inability to utilize our power of 'choice'. Why embrace 'fear' when you can embrace 'boldness'? Both characteristics are non-physical, thus our ability to choose between both resides in our minds. Knowing this, why then do we choose 'fear' and its accompanying limitations, when we can as easily choose 'boldness' and its accompanying abilities to conquer our world.<br /><br />If you have ever confronted your fears with boldness, I can precisely tell that you would agree - 'fear' is overrated.<br /><br />'Fear' only exists when you make it your choice, same as 'Boldness' only exists when you make it your choice.<br /><br />Choose one!<br /><br />--<br />Eta Uso (Jr)<br />Twitter: @royaltyuso</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Some people, either out of previous experiences or of self-exaltation,
have tended to find perfect friendship with the entity known as
'paranoia'. These persons believe that someone or people out there is/are always
trying to bring them down or stop them from achieving their goals.
Today, I besiege you to give a chance at and embrace the attitude of
'Pronia' (the believe that the world is conspiring to help you). You would
be amazed at the total turnaround and satisfaction this would bring
you.<br />
<br />
Embracing Pronia is not about being in denial. Rather, it is all about
creating your own reality. The last time I checked, no man could/can truly
define reality. Or if I make ask, what is reality? The answer is that,
there is no answer. However, we all know that reality does exist. O yes
it does! And it's simple; Reality is simply what you make it.<br />
<br />
A trip to the Moon was never deemed possible until 'Believe' pondered it as a reality and thus it became a reality.<br />
<br />
One man positioned his reality at becoming a President in a land where
the black skin is still largely seen as second-class and today, he is
the President of one of the world's most powerful nations.<br />
<br />
Thus, who can dictate your reality for you? Anyone of course! And this
would only happen when you choose to leave the task of designing your own reality to other people.<br />
<br />
Therefore, Wake Up! Utilize your thoughts, your pen, whatever; just get up,
set out and create your own Reality. And while at it, always remember
that there are no rules and no limits. With these, I believe we could all
be pioneers at different areas in this future of ours.<br />
<br />
...and as you attain your Zenith, always remember this as well; Wait not
for history to be kind to you, but ensure to Write Your Own History. No
one can know the road more than the man who actually walked the path.<br />
<br />
Shalom.<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
In-case you missed the heading, I would repeat it again for free; You Have No Cause To Achieve Lower Than Your Mark!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
Like someone once said "Find out what you are really here for and chase it down with every sweat and fiber in your being". This quote applies to every aspect of your life, be it your academics; find out why you are really in school and chase it down with every sweat and fiber in your being. Until you begin to ask 'Why', you would never really appreciate the value of aiming and achieving the best in wherever you find yourself. It is an indisputable fact that if you do not know 'Why' you are in school, you would never understand 'Why' it is important that you read your books and achieve high grades every semester/term. Even in your local societies and even in politics at different levels, until you ask yourself 'Why' you have been elected to lead, you would never come to the complete understanding of the responsibilities and achievements that are expected of you. Wherever or at whatever task you find yourself, always ask 'Why' and assuredly you would always get an answer. When you get these answers, give your very best at it, I mean, all you've got and the results/milestones would amaze you. Success can never elude a man who gives his all in small, just as he would in big.<br />
<br />
Why seek a second opportunity to right a wrong when you could have made it right at first instance if only you gave your best and didn't aim below your mark. Why seek a second opportunity to make an 'A' in class when you could have made it at first instance if only you had asked yourself 'Why' you were there in the first place and then given your very best at it.<br />
<br />
Why seek a second chance to be a better leader when you could have been a better leader at first instance.<br />
<br />
Why ever seek second chances when we all know that the clock never pauses nor rewinds. In essence, why seek to do the same thing twice when it could have been amazingly done at first instance, most especially as we all agree that time waits for no one.<br />
<br />
Get a grip of yourself! Always ask 'Why' and it would always and assuredly help you focus on the task and achievement(s) expected of you.<br />
<br />
Even if everything and everyone fails you, you cannot afford to fail yourself! Refuse to understand or believe in Excuses. The only people who give excuses are those who seek a second chance on one and same task.<br />
<br />
Remember this; Champions do not give excuses! Champions always ask 'Why' and then they get answers and then they give their best at it and then they Win!<br />
<br />
Shalom.<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Arrived Uyo around 8:30am and just as usual, I was welcomed into the city by the exquisite roads, courtesy of the very high standards in road construction delivery as executed by the German construction giants; Julius Berger.<br />
<br />
On getting done with my engagements in Uyo at around 10am, my intention was to travel back to my state that same day. However, I chose to spend some time in the city (Uyo) till 3pm before leaving and as it turned out, I met these friends of mine (youth corpers serving in Akwa Ibom State) who were like " <i>you cannot leave today o, you must hang-out with us today </i>". It might surprise you that in as much as it was a simple decision to make, it took me a little over three hours to finally make up my mind to stay. Even at the point were we all got into a car and each of them took turns in getting to their respective houses to change into casual wears, I still had not yet decided if I was willing to spend a night there.<br />
<br />
Well, after everyone was set in their casual wears, our first port of call happened to be the Sliverbird Cinema located inside the Tropicana Resort in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Being my first time visiting the Sliverbird Cinema in Uyo, I expected so much, especially with the image of other Sliverbird Cinemas at other locations in the country still being very fresh in my memory. As we arrived the Tropicana Resort and stepped out of the car, the first thing that got my attention was the unkempt surroundings of the car-park that faces the entrance door into the Cinema. The parking-lot itself was well swept and neat but the grasses of which I am sure where planted for beautification, was rather what turned the beauty of the environment into ashes as the grasses were overgrown and sprouting at every corner. By the standards I have always come to expect from such leisure environments, I must say that the exterior environment of the Tropicana Resort of which houses the Sliverbird Cinema complex alongside other arenas, surely fell short of my expectation.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
Nonetheless, the unkempt exteriors of the Tropicana Resort was not our reason for visiting, so we did not spend much time outside before we strolled through the entrance doors of the Sliverbird Cinema and at this point, I could then have some relieve as the interior of the Sliverbird Cinema strongly compensated for its very uninspiring exterior. However, even at this point, I had not still made up my mind to spend the night in Uyo and looking at the time, it was already 5:30pm and the movie in which we bought tickets for, was starting at 6:25pm. I knew within me that I had up till 6pm to leave Uyo that day if I wanted to, but then I had come along up till this point and with the movie start-time being 6:25pm, I knew there was no way I was going to watch the movie and then travel back same day. It was at this point I took the decision to stay back in Uyo for the night. In the moments before I came to this decision to stay, I can recall vividly that my morale was on the low as I was torn between two decisions (Stay or Travel). However, as soon as I made up my mind to stay back, I felt a burden being lifted off me and my morale swiftly peaked back to its usual 'motivated mode'. I had no strong reasons I could apply in order to turn down their request to stay back for the night, especially as I was not going to be very busy the next morning and more-so, the offer on the menu was harmless.<br />
<br />
All said and done, we finally got into the movie theater for the movie 'Hunger Games' but first, we got our drinks, and little of those eatables you would surely be tempted to buy, especially when you have two beautiful young ladies with you :). Anyway, without having to take you through the little happenings (basically receiving one or two calls, cracking jokes amongst ourselves) that occurred sparingly in the course of the two hour movie, I would simply say that the movie was quite interesting and at least worth the time we spent there, although I would not see myself voting the movie for any industry awards.<br />
<br />
Done with the movie, I am sure you know that no one loves pictures like the ladies, so on our way out, we stopped for a brief photo-moment at the lobby (see few pictures below). One thing I forgot; you should never expect to get quickly done with snapping pictures when you have the ladies around and this surely played out as we spent another 30 - 45 minutes after the movie on taking pictures (just pictures o).<br />
<br />
On the conclusion of our mission to the cinema alongside the extra photo-session (thanks to the ladies), we headed out of the Tropicana resort with everyone feeling the vibe of a close to three hours well spent. Still basking in the moment, more-so with the cool night breeze, we visited a few top bars/clubs in the city but being a weekday, the different spots we visited as expected, were scantily occupied. We however, spent some time in two of these places before finally retiring for the night.<br />
<br />
Just before I end on telling this escapade of mine, I still have to add that I traveled out early the next day and o yes, staying back was really worth-it after-all.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yes, this question is for you; what are you doing with negative people? I bet you are having problems giving yourself an answer to this question. Anyway, I can help here and my advice to you is that you take a walk out of the presence of such people and never look back.<br />
<br />
It is easier to be discouraged than to be encouraged. Therefore, it is easier for the negative to influence the positive, rather than the other way round. We are living in a world today where worldly ideologies seem to have a better part of the populace, so on this; I guess you now see why the chances of embracing negativity are higher and why you need to avoid such environments or people at all cost.<br />
<br />
Negative people come in different forms; could be those who are just totally sinful and would never see any reason to be upright or responsible, could also be those who although are living responsible lives but somehow they never stop being pessimistic about every situation. The list is endless but the bottom-line is that, just as Water or Coca-Cola are still liquids, any type or format of negativity is still Negativity; stay away from it at all cost, including those it embodies, as well as its environs. </div>
<a name='more'></a> <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What’s the need of a friend who doesn’t believe you can do it? Why keep a friend or a companion who never seizes to have reasons as to why you cannot achieve what you have set-out to achieve? Why keep a friend or companion who’s every conversation with you is always based on one sinful act or the other? Why keep a friend or companion who keeps leading you astray over and over again? Most times in our lives, we need just one person who would tell us it’s possible but you can never get such moral support with being around a pessimist. Atimes we just need someone who would believe in us but you sure cannot get such motivation from a negative environment. Atimes we just need someone who would tell us it’s still possible even after many failures but you sure cannot get such moral upliftment from being around negative minds. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I could go on and on but I would leave you with this short message;</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Live, Think, Interact and Stay POSITIVE!</div>

Or #GoodPlanGoneBad?<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div style="text-align: justify;">One cannot ignore the fact that this year’s (2012) Big Brother Edition tagged ‘Big Brother Stargame’ was meant to be the best and most thrilling ever in comparison to previous Big Brother Africa editions. However, with over a month to the end of the game, the Big Brother Stargame house has experienced eight (8) unforeseen evictions. Four of these being as a result of health / emotional issues of a partner and the other four resulting from the violation of the house rules, of which earned them an expulsion from the game.<br />
<br />
Without missing anything, I think this is the first time the Big Brother Africa reality show would be experiencing such massive disruption to the show. The nearest to this was the disqualification of Mr. Hannington Kavuma of Uganda during the Big Brother 5: All Stars season due to same rule violation. Nonetheless, the case of Mr. Hannington was an isolated case and really didn’t or in fact, didn’t cause any disruption to the game. <br />
<br />
Still on the Big Brother Africa Stargame; two weeks ago, the Sunday eviction(s) in the Up-Ville House (VIP) had to be cancelled due to the fact that two of the three nominated housemates were disqualified before the Sunday LIVE eviction show due to improper conduct and this resulted in the nullification of evictions for that Sunday, of which caused the Sunday LIVE show to appear dull and without glamour and was more like a hush-hush event of which am certain had caused the show to lose a chunk of their loyal viewers as well as create a whole of new bunch of dissatisfied viewers. <br />
<br />
The names and countries of housemates who had to leave the Big Brother Stargame in circumstances other than the official Sunday eviction shows are;</div><a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
<br />
<b>Ola and Chris (Nigeria)</b> – Voluntary Exit (Health)<br />
<b>Seydou and Esperanca (Angola)</b> – Voluntary Exit (Emotional)<br />
<b>Maneta and Roki (Zimbabwe)</b> – Expelled for Improper Conduct.<br />
<b>DKB (Ghana)</b> - Expelled for Improper Conduct.<br />
<b>Zainab (Sierra Leone)</b> - Expelled for Improper Conduct.<br />
<br />
<br />
In as much as I commend the organizers of the Big Brother Africa reality show for their zero-tolerance towards violence of any kind in the Big Brother House, one cannot dispute the fact that, with eight unforeseen exits, four being as a result of improper conduct, it is quite inarguable that this year’s Big Brother Stargame Edition has really GONE BADDDDDDDDDDDD!</div><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I personally need no one to school me on the fact that humans would
always fail you. Most times, this happens in situations where you
believed that everything was within their jurisdiction to grant your
request, either directly or indirectly. How many of you have experienced
this? And how many of you are experiencing it now?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today, I have very few words for you. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I can stake my life that GOD would never fail you. Whenever you need
that job / favor / contract / scholarship / music deal or whatever, just
take up your request to GOD Almighty, trust me, he would deliver to you
that divine helper that would grant your earnest request without your
ever needing to experience sleepless night or nights of tears.. Take
this from me, if you depend on men(humans), that very person whom you
think can help you by virtue of his/her high position in the society, is
more likely to fail you ninety-nine (99) times out of a hundred (100).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am a witness to this and I can speak with all authority, that when
you take your request to GOD through prayer and supplication, he is sure
able and would always grant your request in more ways than one, and
mostly through a source or person you least expected or could ever
comprehend.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I remember chatting with a young man sometime back and in the course of
our discussion, I discovered that this young man was very familiar with
many highly-placed men in the political circles. I remember saying to
him <b>"<i>you must be very well to do, considering the fact that you know all
these big men</i></b>". He smiled and then gave this response "<b><i>my brother,
it's not as you see it</i></b>" and then he continued " <b><i>if people were being
awarded a PhD for knowing big men, I would have had uncountable PhD's
by now, but the truth is, these big men do not help as people think,
many of them only offer little help when they need something from you</i></b>".
His answer struck me and I then said to myself, "<b><i>why depend on man
(humans), who would often seek to take before giving, why not depend on
GOD, who is openly telling you that his wealth has no end and you should
come in and have as much as you desire even to its overflowing</i></b>".</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My brother, sister, friends and all, this is my ministration from me
to you. I have tasted both sides; GOD & Man, trust me, GOD's taste
never gets sour.</div>

A very angry and rude young man came up and began insulting him. "You have no right teaching others, he shouted." You are as stupid as everyone else. You are nothing but a fake."<br />
<br />
The wise man was not upset by these insults. Instead he asked the young man "Tell me, if you buy a gift for someone, and that person does not take it, to whom does the gift belong?"<br />
<br />
The man was surprised to be asked such a strange question and answered, "It would belong to me, because I bought the gift."<br />
<br />
The wise man smiled and said, "That is correct. And it is exactly the same with your anger. If you become angry with me and I do not get insulted, then the anger falls back on you. You are then the only one who becomes unhappy, not me. All you have done is hurt yourself."<br />
<br />
"If you want to stop hurting yourself, you must get rid of your anger and become loving instead. When you hate others, you yourself become unhappy. But when you love others, everyone is happy."<br />
<br />
The young man listened closely to these wise words of the Wise man. "You are right, "he said. "Please teach me the path of love. I wish to become your follower."<br />
<br />
The Wise man answered kindly, "Of course. I teach anyone who truly wants to learn. Come with me."<br />

<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"></span></b><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Why
worry? I have come to a conclusion that worry does no good but rather rubs us
of the next step that would have likely bailed us out of whatever predicament we
are facing.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Most of the time, people easily succumb to worrying over issues while a solution is just
a step away. When next you come across an obstacle whilst chasing your dream,
rather than stop to worry, simply put in same effort into taking a bold step
forward and you would be amazed with the magical effects this bold action would
produce.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Aside
the fact that worry doesn’t solve anything, too much of it also causes physical
strain on the body, which of cause makes one look older than their mark. Your
worries could only get worse when you have to contend with whatever you are
worrying about, alongside having to worry about your strained physical
appearance. Most especially, in our generation of today where the 50 year olds
want to look like the 30 year olds, I bet you sure would not want to look older
than what you really are as a consequence of worrying, of which does not help
your situation.</span></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">For
us Christians, we can see a confirmation from the bible that worrying cannot
help us, as stated in Matthew 6: 25-34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?. Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.".</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Therefore,
it is my prayer that you heed to this advice, so that when next you are faced
with that situation, ‘Do Not Worry’, simply strut your neck out and keep moving
and in this, you would surely conquer your limitations or obstacles.</span></div>
